General Duty (GD):
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Mathematics and Physics at the 10+2 level. Candidates with diplomas must have Physics and Mathematics in their curriculum.
- Age Limit: Born between July 1, 2000, and June 30, 2004 (inclusive).
Technical Branch:
- Educational Qualification: Engineering degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related disciplines. Electrical or Electronics Engineering disciplines are also eligible.

Selection Process 🔍
The selection process comprises five stages:
Stage I: Coast Guard Common Admission Test (CGCAT):
- A computer-based online screening test with 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Subjects: English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
Stage II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB):
- Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).
Stage III: Final Selection Board (FSB):
- Psychological Test, Group Task, and Personal Interview.
Stage IV: Medical Examination:
- Conducted at Base Hospital, New Delhi.
Stage V: Induction:
