   • Super Specialty Discipline:
     • Same as above, plus M.Ch. for surgical specialties and D.M. for medical specialties.
     • 12 years of teaching/research experience post M.Ch./D.M.
   • Non-Medical Candidates:
     • Master’s and Doctorate degree in relevant specialty.
     • 14 years of teaching/research experience post doctorate.
2. Additional Professor
   • Medical Candidates (General Discipline):
     • Medical qualification listed in the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
     • MD/MS or equivalent.
     • 10 years of teaching/research experience post MD/MS.
   • Super Specialty Discipline:
     • Same as above, plus D.M. or M.Ch.
