ओवरसीज प्लेसमेंट सेल के निम्नलिखित कार्य हैं
- हरियाणा के युवाओं के लिए विदेशी प्लेसमेंट के अवसर बढ़ाने के लिए रणनीतियाँ विकसित करना
- दुनिया भर में हरियाणवी युवाओं के लिए संभावित नियोक्ताओं और नए रोजगार के अवसरों की पहचान करना
- श्री विश्वकर्मा कौशल विश्वविद्यालय (एसवीएसयू), हरियाणा कौशल विकास मिशन (एचएसडीएम) और हरियाणा के अन्य संबंधित संस्थानों की मदद से अपेक्षित डोमेन और सॉफ्ट कौशल वाले युवाओं के प्रशिक्षण के लिए समन्वय
- आईटी, कृषि, शिक्षा आदि जैसे विशिष्ट क्षेत्रों में प्रशिक्षित मानव संसाधनों के लिए नियोक्ताओं को हरियाणा सरकार के संबंधित विभाग से जोड़ना
- युवाओं को अपेक्षित डोमेन विशेषज्ञता और सॉफ्ट कौशल के साथ प्रशिक्षित करना

- विभिन्न देशों और विदेशी कंपनियों की नौकरी की मांगों का एकत्रीकरण
- पोर्टल पर नौकरी लिस्टिंग के आधार पर कौशल आवश्यकता को एकत्रित करना।
- उपयुक्त प्राधिकारियों से प्रमाणपत्र के सत्यापन के लिए तंत्र।
- अपेक्षित डोमेन और सॉफ्ट कौशल वाले युवाओं के ऑनलाइन प्रशिक्षण के लिए तंत्र।
