CBT 1 Exam Pattern

प्रश्न प्रकार: विकल्प सहित बहुविकल्पीय प्रकार

• परीक्षा प्रकार: कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा (सीबीटी)
• कुल प्रश्न: 75 प्रश्न
• परीक्षा की अवधि: 01 घंटा (60 मिनट)
• नेगेटिव मार्किंग: प्रति गलत उत्तर के लिए 1/3 अंक
• पात्रता के लिए न्यूनतम पास प्रतिशत: यूआर और ईडब्ल्यूएस – 40%, ओबीसी (एनसीएल) और एससी – 30%, एसटी – 25%

CBT 2 Exam Pattern

1. Candidates for CBT-2 will be shortlisted based on their normalized marks and merit in CBT–1, RRB-wise and community-wise.
2. The total number of candidates shortlisted for CBT-2 will be limited to 15 times the number of vacancies notified for each RRB.
3. CBT-2 consists of two parts: Part-A and Part-B. It is a Computer Based Exam (CBT) with a total of 100 questions in Part-A and 75 questions in Part-B.
4. The exam is based on subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, General Awareness on Current Affairs (Part-A), and Relevant Trade and practical knowledge (Part-B).
5. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
6. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
7. Normalization of marks will be applied for CBTs conducted in multiple shifts.
8. The minimum pass percentage for eligibility is UR & EWS – 40%, OBC (NCL) & SC – 30%, ST – 25%.
